The Bowen Technique was developed by Tom Bowen, an Osteopath in Australia who achieved incredible results on the thousands of people he treated. Today it is practiced all over the world.

The Bowen technique is a holistic therapy - we treat the body as a whole and not only the problematic area. What the Bowen Technique consists of is a series of gentle moves over muscles and soft tissue. This sends impulses through the body which signals to the brain where the blockages are. The body then begins to heal itself. Between moves, the patient is left for a few minutes in order for the body to absorb the treatment and respond to it. A treatment usually lasts 45 minutes and can be done directly on the skin or through thin clothing. Most conditions are healed in only 2 or 3 treatments.

The Bowen Technique can be used to treat people of all ages. In addition to its healing ability, it can be used as a preventative measure for injuries, problems, and conditions.
